Douglas J. Berry, BS, MS, DC, CCEP
Dr. Berry is a 1988 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. He has been in private practice in Cedar Rapids from 1988 to 1997. In 1996 Dr. Berry accepted a teaching position at Palmer College of Chiropractic in the Diagnosis Department teaching Neuromusculoskeletal Diagnosis. He re-established his practice in Cedar Rapids in October of 2000.
Dr. Berry has extensive post graduate training in chiropractic orthopedics, sports injury, and extremity adjusting. He is a certificate holder in Applied Kinesiology from the International College of Applied Kinesiology, chiropractic orthopedics from Palmer College of Chiropractic and a Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner (CCEP) by the Council on Extremity Adjusting.
Dr. Berry has lectured on chiropractic, wellness, and nutrition in the United States, Canada, and Brazil. He is member or past member of the post graduate faculties of Palmer College of Chiropractic and New York Chiropractic College. He has lectured in health education and physical education at St. Ambrose University and the University of Illinois and in pathology and herbology at the Institute of Therapeutic Massage and Wellness in Davenport, Iowa.
Dr. Berry taught physical education at the high school and university levels in Illinois from 1970 through 1976. He coached gymnastics at the high school and club levels in Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota from 1965 through 1988.
Dr. Berry is a native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, a 1966 graduate of Washington Senior High School. He received a B.S. from Iowa State University in 1970 and a M.S. from the University of Illinois in 1976. He served in the U.S. Army from 1971 through 1973.
